Fix linting issues #11

This PR adds syntax highlighting for the LaTeX code (and fixes other minor linting issues discovered by https://github.com/DavidAnson/markdownlint#rules--aliases)

thanks, as one might have recognized I simply hate writing markdown ;-) But i will try to improve
