Recently started a re-read on The Pragmatic Programmer. This book is on its 37th printing this year (2018). The first time I read this book, I felt like I could have written it; it captures lessons I learned a lot through years of software development. Well written, fairly technology agnostic so it doesn't age out.
I just bought and started reading through System Design Heuristics by Gerald M. Weinberg. This book talks about the activity of design, which is rather wide, but especially in designing software systems. Jerry is one of my best and favourite teachers I've had along the way, very inspiring in making me who I am now.
This is a permanent issue.
