There is nothing in A2DP Volume that could be related to the echo that I can
think of. I had the echo issue back when I got my first Droid, well before I
created this app. It was fixed with a software update to the OS (went to
Froyo). A2DP Volume has no interaction with a voice call at all. The echo
issue happens with multiple carriers with multiple devices and is often
intermittent.
One thing you could try it a complete device reset. This will clear out the
cahce. It will also take the phome back to where you started. Make sure you
use Google back up services so all your contacts, etc come back. The apps
should come back too but sometimes it takes a bit. If you get inpatient, or
they never return, just use a PC and log into your Google account and open the
Play store. There you can reinstall your apps easily via the website.
Resetting the device often speeds it up and cleans up many issues like the one
you are having. Good luck.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
It turned out to be the ipod cable. When it's connected I get the echo.
There is another issue that maybe you can help with. Apparently some HTC
phones have a bug where when you disconnect from Bluetooth it can hang the
BT service and it won't connect or restart when toggled. The only time
this happens to me is when I have A2DP turn off wireless (which is a good
feature). I have to toggle Wireless off & on in order for BT to work
again. Is it possible to add an option to force Wireless back on or even
toggle it off then on again upon a disconnect from BT?
Thanks again!
Steve
