Some of the Pokémon Models from Sun and Moon have rigging issues when exported as SMD.

If using blender, I recommend importing as a dae, then exporting as an smd if you really need to use smd files

@legoj15 Do I use Noesis to convert DAE to SMD?

you can, but blender can import and export smds if you use the blender source tools plugin (recommended) http://steamreview.org/BlenderSourceTools/
