Feature request: UI Improvements #566

Hi I love (and use) OctoPod exclusively because it's so much more feature rich (and affordable) than other apps, but I wanted to suggest that the UI be improved a bit. I'm not sure what it is about the app that feels less 'iOS native' to me, but the best suggestion I can give is to check out Polymer, which feels more fluid and native to iOS somehow. Perhaps it's the buttons, or the fact that OctoPod doesn't seem to use the standard UI elements from Apple's dev kit (?), but it feels less inviting and premium to me than other apps.

Not sure if this is helpful at all, but as an avid user, I wanted to give the feedback as something I think many of us would like to see. I hope this is the appropriate place JL

Thanks @jonathanalevi for the feedback. As you can tell, creating nice UIs is not my specialty. :) OctoPod uses standards iOS components but I get your point and I agree. The look and feel is very "tabular" and not like other iOS apps. I'm open to suggestions or design ideas. If there is a UI designer that can help, I would be happy to partner to make OctoPod a nicer app.
