User "rocafebo" on the Kodi forums asks if it's possible to use this pluigin to have PCloud contents as a "video source". This is currently not possible (as of version 1.2.9) but I am creating this ticket to investigate whether it can be enabled.

Hello @puhbooh ,

In principle there is a way you can already use the plugin as media source. Steps:

Install the plugin normally.
Go to Videos, then Files, then "Add videos..."
In the "Add video source" dialog, click on "\<None>" (do not click Browse)
In the resulting input box, type the following verbatim: plugin://plugin.video.pcloud-video-streaming
In the box under "Enter a name for your source", enter a name to your liking, like "PCloud Plugin" or whatever you want.
Click OK.
In the next dialog you are asked to set a content - movies, TV shows, etc.

That's it. Does that fit the bill?

Hello @gdomenici

Is there a way to get the library scan on KODI to work with the pCloud plugin after adding it as a media source on KODI. I tried the method that you outlined above and it added my pCloud folder as a media source, but when the time came to scan the video files in that folder and add the metadata, it didn't work. I put each movie in it's own folder with a poster and fanart jpg files and an nfo file with the necessary metadata which I pulled from tinyMediaManager.
