Cannot receive with AFSK #326

I manually installed APRSdroid-1.6.2b.apk on both a Motorola phone and a Samsung phone. I am using a GT5R with a Slim Jim antenna and a BTECH APRS-K1 cable. Aprsdroid transmits fine with AFSK with either phone. I was able to receive on the Motorola phone using AFSK the first time I used aprsdroid. Since then I have not been able to receive using AFSK using either phone.

I am sure the issue is with me. Any ideas?

I tried the same radio and cable with Direwolf and have the same issue. I believe the issue is with the radio and/or cable.
