`bootstrap.sh -a` fails on Ubuntu 22.04 #351

bootstrap.sh -a fails on Ubuntu 22.04 with the following messages:

Or at least that's what's happening in the CI workflow. @SpamapS : Can you confirm you are seeing this in your 22.04 testing as well?

Any thoughts on how to fix this without breaking all the other supported platforms?
