I have a v2 version of the 878 witch includes APRS RX. I am receiving messages from individual callsigns but can not find a way to send a message back in analogue mode. I am only able to send position reports with comment text. I would like to be able to message individual callsigns or APRS2SOTA or SMSGTE.
This not an issue in digital mode as SMS can be sent to individual id's.
Have any of you found a way to do this in analogue mode? If not could you advise on how feature requests in the firmware may be raised?
