Style figures and outputs as example for our expectations #101

Maybe this is a personal concern, but I was always annoyed in my studies when I was supposed to hand in reports/figures/tables graded on their style, but the lecture material served as no example. Here that means that we style our figures/tables/outputs consistently in a good format (captions, labels, colours, etc.) so that they serve as an example of our expectation of what the quality of the output should be in the report.

Essentially the same as teaching good coding practices.

Needs revision throughout the book.

I've been meaning to write a ggplot() lab theme, for consistency on these matters, and have pitched the idea to @stineb in the past. Some of that I would go in GECOr or whatever we name the package of lab tools in the end. But for this there won't be time.

We should stick to the minimum of captions. Closing this opening "adding captions throughout"

Indeed, full support! Creating captions on all figures is definitely a good move, just had 2nd priority behind getting all other things straightened. A theme_geco() would be awesome, but I would keep it optional (but encouraged) for lab members to adopt. Regarding colors, I think we should go with what others developed.
