Required fixes for inclusion into the main group github page. In addition it can be argued that there is functional redundancy between this and other packages. Check for functional redundancy of (sub-) functions especially within the context of GDAL RasterIO.
Things are currently too slow for what it does - mere parallelization is only a quick hack in this respect. The work on {stars} and proxy data should address some of the workflow efficiency.
