Controller is hidden on piped #4

Hello there,

I'm a user of the original Video Speed Controller extension and just noticed that you've forked it to fix some issues. Thank you for that 🤗

I still have an issue on both version though. I'm using Piped as my YouTube client but there's a frustrating issue. If you go to https://piped.garudalinux.org/ and click on any videos, you should see the controller for a very brief amount of time and then it disappears forever and you can't make it show up again using the shortcut.

Am I missing something here? Or is this a bug?

I think it's a bug. Keyboard shortcuts seem to work though.

Can not reproduce since the whole page doesn't load it's contents
