Hi, we are working on that #109
Meanwhile, you can use an experimental version packaged by Gena here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1B0h0qHfLlx5d8e5_2r2K7g8N__YLb47_/view?usp=sharing
Thank you for sharing this with me, unfortunately I still have the same problem.
try to use an alternative method for authenticating, read the FAQ at https://gee-community.github.io/qgis-earthengine-plugin/
I've just marked 0.0.5 as not experimental, @LouHeilinger, try to uninstall the current version and then install the 0.0.5 version via the QGIS Plugins dialog. Then make sure you delete the ~/.config/earthengine/credentials file and restart QGIS. After you do import ee in QGIS Python console - it should authenticate properly.
@LouHeilinger, did the last version solve your problem?
closing for no activity, should be fixed in 0.0.5
I am trying to install the GEE plugin in QGIS. However, when I try to open the plugin, i get the pop-up window: "Authorization - Google Earth Engine Python is not detected on this machine. This plugin uses Google Earth Engine Python API and requieres user to be authorized, please follow the instructions in the open web page and paste the resulting auth token here".
However, the website gives me an error : Error 400: invalid_request The version of the app you're using doesn't include the latest security features to keep you protected. Please make sure to download from a trusted source and update to the latest, most secure version.".
I have already downloaded the most stable QGIS and uninstalled older versions, and I did the same with python. I further tried to download the ee.plugin that was shared in this support page. I also tried to use the plugin on another computer, but it does not work.
Does someone know how I can fix this?
Thanks in advance!
