Key Takeaways and Learnings

This was my first time working with LLMs as a Machine Learning Engineer. So, I've learned a few things:

• Prompt engineering is very crucial for the performance and accuracy of the application and even a single word in the prompt can cause the entire application to fail.
• Designing the most appropriate prompt is not easy at all. It requires specific context for application. We tested the model's responses on some test cases, improvised the prompts to fix all the mistakes the model was making. This required team effort and was probably the most difficult task for us.
• I learnt how the API endpoints can be used to communicate with the database.
• Working with a team and helping each other with our tasks is the most efficient way to solve a problem.

This was my first hackathon, my first time interacting with techies! (UI/UX designers, ai, ml, cloud, front-end engineers, architect and LLM analyst). And I have learnt a few things from the experienced team through the phases of the hackathon-

• Have learned about Agile/Lean methodology (+ how a scrum board is managed)
• Have been introduced to many terms and roles new to me!
• Learnt how team dynamics work and how important communication between members actually is.
