Basic UI Work #41

We should get a basic UI working for Sprint 1.

Steve, I'm giving this to you since you are already working on this some.

A basic UI shell has been created and some of the bugs that were discovered have been fixed. As we progress through this project, more attention will be paid to the individual sections in order to make sure views make sense and are as simple as possible.
