Turok 3 - Graphical Glitches #219

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
There are two graphical glitches that I know of. First one is the at the
Acclaim logo in the introduction. The other one is the "ghosts" that rise up
after killing an enemy. I'm not sure if it's related to the high resolution
mode (have not tested it in the low resolution), but this problem does not
exist in Jabo's Direct3D 8 Version 1.6 Plugin. That is to say I believe the
rendering in Jabo's Plugin is more correct.

I forgot to mention what was wrong with the logo and "ghosts". They both seem
to be invisible. The logo is hard to see and the "ghosts" are too transparent
to really notice them.

Please give me a savestate for the "transparent ghost" problem.

I'll make one in a bit, though I don't see why it is needed. Just play the
game, and kill one enemy. When an enemy dies, it drops dead, and a ghost
appears for a few seconds. That is the ghost I am talking about. It is hard
to see that ghost, though it might be related to the lighting.

Here is a save state. The dog's ghost is suppose to rise, but you barely see
it in Glide64. If you switch to Jabo, you can see it more clearly.
