Doing direct searches on article titles isn't coming up on Google at all

Found this https://www.seomechanic.com/why-is-my-website-not-showing-in-google-search-results/ which seems like it has some decent info. Has links to tools as well which i will look into

notes so far:

• check blog posts (and other pages) in SEO scanning tools
• can we improve the SEO meta tags? are we missing something?
• should we be writing content in a more SEO friendly way? do we need to be keeping the titles/summaries punchier?

I put those two posts through a meta tag analyser and it seems to say

• Meta Description: Meta Description Not Found
• Meta Title: Title should be smaller than 60 characters (85) characters
• Meta keyword: Meta Keywords Not Found

I am a bit confused how this isn't a dev bug? Description text is provided, its just not set in the html by the look of it?

Doing a few searches found a lot of pages from our Mastadon server so it may be worth looking at what meta tags it is setting
