Things I'd love for Dad to do before he heads out tomorrow:

• [x] Measure the current for 3 LED strips at the positive and negative connection to the power supply (with 2 LEDs on)

Testing the power supply, relays, and LED strips this morning:

Scenario: 24V DC PSU connected to three LED strips in series, direct wired through three relays, turning on two LEDs at a time.

Test Results (measured on positive leg + vs negative leg -):

• 1 LED red: 1.53A (+) / 1.56A (-)
• 1 LED green: 1.26A (+) / 1.22A (-)
• 1 LED blue: 1.36A (+) / 1.39 (-)
• 1 LED white: 1.45A (+) / 1.5A (-)
• 4 LED: 3.4A

It seems like there's some voltage drop strip-to-strip... the last strip is definitely a bit dimmer than the others.

Also testing the voltage drop: with 3 strips, measured at both ends:

• Beginning of run: 24V
• End of run: 21V
