I need to upgrade everything... all but the oldest CentOS and Debian releases have new versions available.

Hmm... Debian 8 build gives:

RuntimeError: cryptography requires setuptools 18.5 or newer, please upgrade to a newer version of setuptools

Ubuntu 20.04 build is now giving me trouble for some reason... might have to open another follow-up on it.

If I enable headless, it works, if I disable it (so the VM shows as it's running) it fails, on Ubuntu 20.04. Observer effect, anyone?
