This makes sense. Unless there is an event or consequence(which personally I would love to see one from stealing.) That prompt doesn't need to be there. If I remember correctly, you do take money and stuff from other places as well and you don't get a prompt......If they all had prompts for stealing.....Yes or No......then maybe it would be interesting. If the player is trying to stay "clean" and make money this might be a good thing, but it also needs consequences.......getting arrested....or caught....and so on.
Hm... stealing from the orphanage puts the orphanage in debt, forcing all the children to be sold into slavery.
It could be done, but I still don't like the query you get.
I'm not sure I like the prompt at the Orphanage, 2nd floor. You know, the one who asks if you want to steal from children.
I think it implies that there are some actual choice in the matter, but there isn't really. Until now (play wise) the interaction with a container would open it instantly, so it breaks what has been so far, and it implies something is different. But it isn't really. It's just the same old thing, but with an extra click in between.
There's no real choice, because choosing to take the content will give you a reward (money), while not not doing it will give you nothing. At best you may give the player a bad feeling, but withing the game, there's no negative consequence of getting the content of the trunk, only positive.
