Some weapon sounds overlap equipped weapon sounds #22

Example, if an abyssal whip is equipped and you transmog a viggora's chainmace, the attack sound of the abyssal whip occurs before the chainmace. Is it possible to completely replace the sound with the transmogged item?

I only hear the whip sound effect when I attack using a viggora's chainmace item override and viggora's chainmace animation override. Are you sure you're not mistaking the enemy hit sound as the viggora's chainmace attack sound? What do you have set in the plugin?

2022-03-02_23-45-04 This is what I currently have, the sound of chainmace occurs about 1 tick after the sound of the whip. I've tested it on multiple creatures and I get the same results.

does it happen with the regular whip?

Yep, same sound delay when I have the viggoras as an override

image I still hear the exact same thing whether I have this swap enabled or not. Using regular whip.

ahhhh I hear it now, it's an area sound and I had those muted.

some animations have sounds attached to them. I'll keep this in mind if I ever add sound replacement.

btw as a workaround you can use the Annoyance Mute hub plugin to mute sound ids 303, 229, and 2379 and it will remove this sound effect.
