Does not work on Thunderbird 52 #7

I recently upgraded thunderbird to version 52. (52.1 to be exact). It seems like the addon is not working. On my existing profile, thunderbird does not even try to connect to any server. When I try to send a message, the following error appears: Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail: Could not get password for smtp.bla.bla The message was not sent.

When trying on a new profile and only installing pass-manager, I cannot even create an account. After the account creation, the list of accounts stays empty. Trying to create the account again, an error message says that the incoming server already exists. If I create the account before installing pass-manager, the behaviour is the same as in the case of an existing profile above.

Please try version 0.6.1.

Thanks. A first quick test on my existing profile shows that it seems to work. I can send and receive emails, and the calender seems to work as well.

However, what are the prospects of this addon to keep working in thunderbird? Will Mozilla switch thunderbird to webextensions as well, or will it keep the old extension system?
