Think of the very first lesson plan... how do we want to learn these things? Form a basic story around the words needed.

Idea 1: The main character wakes up in a strange world. He/she doesn't remember anything, starts learning a language, lol.

Idea 2: Study abroad scenario!

Idea 3: get super meta, have the character being read a story book about their world, which describes movement and things. Then perhaps he can have a dream to try different actions out. Introduce his actions in the chosen language, you can use more words in the story book idea.

So more specifically he can learn how to walk, and the word for 'apple' by walking to pickup and eat and apple. He could learn how to interact via dialogue and a basic 'hi how are you' by dreaming about walking over to talk to his friend. Basically a version of Jungho's strange world take.

idea 4: the via my friend Zebra and Jake. You are an alien that is landing on earth and must learn the culture and language in order to fit in. You have been sent to earth because your alien society long ago received an artifact from the earth with incomprehensible text and it has become the corner stone of all religion and politics on your home planet. Now that you have the technology for space travel you want to decode it!
