Bug : Wrong Upload/Download speeds

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set the max upload speeds at 18 000 KB/s for example

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The upload is limited to 800 KB/s, the expected limit is 18 MB/s.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Transmission Remote GUI 5.0.1 on Mac OS-X 10.6.8, connected to Transmission 
2.52 on Debian 7.

Please provide any additional information below.

I think this is not a transmission-Remote-GUI bug but a bug with the daemon now 
fixed in a newer version than 2.52  https://trac.transmissionbt.com/ticket/5267

OK... 2.52 is the newest version for Debian 7. No way :-(
