From top to bottom: 1 Majorana researchers prepare the Majorana Module before it is closed and inserted into the shield. 2 UNC researcher finishes the installation of HPGe detector strings into a Module.
3 Majorana Researcher inspects the MJD Data-acqusition system 4 Majorana Researchers prepare to perform the pre-installation test of a detector string 5 A typical Majorana detector string with one Natural detector on the top and multiple enriched detectors below. 6: A prototype Majorana module is being used for testing and R&D at UNC 7:The prototype module and supporting system such as a glove box, electronics, cryogenics, at UNC 8: The cryogenics and vacuums systems at UNC.
