@lundeen-bryan since the main point of the extension is code manipulation within VS-Code I don't see a strong argument to access the web. Once the BingChatGPT model is available in public/released by openAI I plan to integrate that. With that hopefully the web searches will be available. I will close this for now. However, if you feel strongly about this, could you please open a thread on Discussions and we can track the popularity of the request there. Thank you for using the extension!
