According to the references in the InterPro record for Maternal tudor protein (IPR008191), this domain binds nucleic acids.

So mapping should be added: Function =nucleic acid binding (GO:0003676).

Actually it says it is "identified in several RNA-binding proteins" - along with the KH domain which does bind RNA. Only 6 or the 23 annotated proteins within the entry contain this term so I cannot add it globally (has to be true for all)
