@RLovering - there is one University of Toronto annotation for this ticket. Would you mind taking a look and reviewing it? Thx.
All UniProt-EBI annotations have been reviewed. There are 4 SWIS annotation remaining ( I have put a purple tag at the end of the relevant rows). Thanks, Penelope
UniProt-SWIS annotations are done.
Two annotations are left to check:
UniProtKB:Q92673: Alzheimers_University_of_Toronto @BarbaraCzub UniProtKB:P76594: EcoCyc @keseler
Thanks, Pascale

Hi Pascale, I just had a look in Protein2GO and unfortunately I am not able to edit the Alzheimers_University_of_Toronto annotations. But having just looked at Figure 10 in the paper (PMID:21989385), I believe the annotation should be changed to 'negative regulation of protein complex assembly'. cc @RLovering Thanks, Barbara
Thanks Barbara
I have updated this one as suggested
Ruth
@pgaudet Sorry, I must have missed that one. I removed the annotation in EcoCyc (though it will be a while before that trickles down into our GAFF, as usual). Seems I can't edit the spreadsheet.
Hi @vanaukenk , @pgaudet ,
Some of terms mentioned in the guidelines as proposed to be obsolete are still active. Like protein tetramerization and the regulation terms of this, protein hexamerization, protein trimerization etc.
If there was a change on this plan, please ignore my message. If not and this is still to be done, could a message/ note be added to the terms? This will prevent curators keep using them and having to do the revision again.
Thanks,
Penelope
Following on from the 2019-06-11 annotation conference call, we are asking groups to review their annotations to GO:0032459 'regulation of protein oligomerization' and children terms.
This review is in preparation for obsoletion of these terms in the ontology as capturing the stoichiometry of protein interactions is not within the scope of GO.
Guidelines for how to review and update annotations to these terms are in the second section of this document on the GO's Google drive.
The full spreadsheet, with tabs for both manual experimental and sequence-based annotations, is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tVkRG81cfLxbrnS279RlJ-u1k20ee_NwHRXlWKUeWuo
Please comment in this ticket if you have any questions about existing annotations, and remove your name from the list of assignees when you are finished. Thank you!
