PTN000118612

https://www.pombase.org/gene/SPAC139.01c

PROPAGATION mkt1 is post-transcriptional RNA stability regulator Mkt1

it is slightly related to exo1 https://www.pombase.org/gene_subset/interpro:IPR006085

and could be a nuclease, (it has a nuclease domain).

However, these annotations can't be transferred:

GO:0035312
5'-3' DNA exonuclease activity IBA with Q9UQ84 , PTN000118621 , exo1 , S000002671

This is a nice case of ancient duplication event in fungi with gain/loss of function. Annotation has been corrected accordingly.
