Hi @ValWood yes, for sure. From the paper, should be involved in the assembly of COPII coated vesicles at ER exit sites. So have reannotated to "COPII vesicle coating" and not regulation. Will take a while to get through the system as we've just wrapped up for the FB2023_06 release.
sar1 is a GTPase involved in ER to Golgi vesicle transport. I annotated to
GO:0006888 | endoplasmic reticulum to Golgi vesicle-mediated transport | IMP The directed movement of substances from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) to the Golgi, mediated by COP II vesicles. Small COP II coated vesicles form from the ER and then fuse directly with the cis-Golgi. Larger structures are transported along microtubules to the cis-Golgi.
I'm picking up mappings to
GO:0070863 | positive regulation of protein exit from endoplasmic reticulum | IBA with FBgn0038947 , PTN000195056 | GO:0003400 | regulation of COPII vesicle coating | IBA with S000006139 , PTN000195056
but the GTPases here seem to be part of the pathway? (i.e within pathway regulation)
@hattrill @pgaudet what do you think? should these be regulation?
