GO:0045292 mRNA cis splicing, via spliceosome rather than regulation

Hi @ValWood I think that the bigger issue here is that these two FBgns are not the best predicted orthologs for bpb1.

SF1 Splicing factor 1 is the best the "hit" for bpb1 which is annotated with mRNA splicing, via spliceosome (IC, ISS), the genes used by treeGr for propagtion are:

FB:FBgn0022984 qkr58E-3 OR FB:FBgn0264491 how are RNA binding proteins, but haven't been characterised as part of the spliceosome, so I cannot change these to GO:0045292 mRNA cis splicing, via spliceosome

I would say that the similarity is not sufficient to propagate to bpb1.

To me this looks like a "selection" issue for Panther/TreeG.
