Get compex is involved in the insertion of tail anchored proteins into the ER membrane. The "GO:0006890    retrograde vesicle-mediated transport, Golgi to endoplasmic reticulum" is a downstream phenotype from an early screen: Schuldiner 2005 https://www.yeastgenome.org/reference/S000087084

The same authors published the actual role as an insertase for tail anchored proteins later https://www.yeastgenome.org/reference/S000127592 and so the older annotation at SGD probably need a review @suzialeksander
