GO:0016237 | microautophagy | IBA with PTN002244143 , S000003549

Annotation, this seems like a phenotype so probably shouldn't be transferred:

PMID:37949217 In our previous study, we reported that the fission yeast Pqr1, a RING-type ubiquitin ligase with an SPX domain (SPX-RING), contributes to Pi homeostasis, restricting Pi uptake by down- regulating the major Pi transporters, Pho84 and Pho842 (36). Loss of Pqr1 results in excessive influx of Pi into the cell, causing failure of phosphate quantity restriction. Consequently, it evokes hyper-accumulation of inorganic polyphosphate (polyP), a Pi polymer, synthesized by the VTC complex in vacuolar mem- branes. Hyper-accumulation of polyP in vacuolar lumens in- terferes with proper proteolysis in the vacuoles, which is indispensable for autophagic recycling of amino acids, thereby causing cell death during cellular quiescence (G0 phase) induced by nitrogen-limitation (36–39).

based on this it seems that VTC dooes not have a direct role in autophagy, but if it is compromised the hyperaccumulation of Pi interferes with the proteolysis step?

ignore, it seems to be weirdly multifunctional. anyway vtc mutants would not result in hyperaccumulation!

For VTC complex I would probably only transfer the mappings for polyphosphate import into vacuole (once available) and GO:0006799 | polyphosphate biosynthetic process the main roles. It seems likely the other mappings like microautophagy/ and [vacuole fusion, non-autophagic] might be due to an indirect role problems caused by the absence of complex members, or polyphosphate? what do you think?

I've kept the polyphosphate biosynthesis process and will add polyphosphate import into vacuole once available.
