GO:0032016 negative regulation of Ran protein signal transduction
GO:0032017 positive regulation of Ran protein signal transduction
The reason for obsoletion is that this process is not known to be regulated. GAPs and GEFs, that regulate Ran, are part of the Ran signaling pathway (or Ran cycle).
We also propose to obsolete the sibling GO:0090226 regulation of microtubule nucleation by Ran protein signal transduction. The reason for annotation is that this is a mix of a BP and of one of the genes involved in that BP. This term will be replaced by its parent, GO:0010968 regulation of microtubule nucleation. There is a single IMP by UniProt.
