The proposal has been made to obsolete GO:0070423 nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain containing signaling pathway (also know as NOD). The reason for obsoletion is that this is an unnecessary grouping term: NOD1 and NOD2 are two of a large number of 'nucleotide-binding domain, leucine rich repeat containing receptors (NLR), see Figure 1 in PMID:36973360, which is already covered by the 'grand parent' term GO:0035872 nucleotide-binding domain, leucine rich repeat containing receptor signaling pathway.
