The proposal has been made to obsolete
GO:0102053 (-)-jasmonoyl-isoleucine synthetase activity
GO:0102057 jasmonoyl-valine synthetase activity
& replace by
GO:0102058 jasmonoyl-leucine synthetase activity
The reason for obsoletion is that in EC and RHEA, these are represented by a single reaction: RHEA:55772 and EC 6.3.2.52
These cross references are present on GO:0102057 and GO:0102058 but missing from GO:0102053.
All 3 terms are annotated to the same 4 genes by UniProt; no reannotation is needed.
I will
• obsolete GO:0102053 & GO:0102057, and replaced them by GO:0102058 jasmonoyl-leucine synthetase activity.
• rename GO:0102058 to the more general 'jasmonoyl-L-amino acid ligase activity'
• change the definition to match RHEA.
