Well caught. As well as the direct effect on GO, this had some nasty indirect consequences for the structure of phenotype ontologies that depend on GO. Fixed

Hi
I have just realised that GO:0071625 vocalization behavior is a child of GO:0044704 single-organism reproductive behavior.
But the definition: The behavior in which an organism produces sounds by a mechanism involving its respiratory system.
does not suggest this term is limited to vocal behavior associated with courtship (I am assuming now that the term is placed here to relate the vocal behavior to courtship rather than any other vocal behavior associated with reproductive behavior.
There are 2 other rather odd placements under GO:0044704 single-organism reproductive behavior, ie GO:0040040 thermosensory behavior GO:0007632 visual behavior
I think there may have been discussion about whether 'behaviour' terms should be associated with GO. Not sure if this got resolved.
However, as a matter of urgency I would suggest that something needs to be done about the placement of these terms. Obviously in organisms other than (and including) human all of these behaviour will occur outside of reproductive behaviour situations.
Could they be moved for now at least to be is_a child terms of: GO:0044708 single-organism behavior
Thanks
Ruth
