From reading the paper, you're actually talking about two different enzyme activities, glucuronylgalactosylproteoglycan 4- beta-N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase activity, EC:2.4.1.174, GO:0047237 and glucuronosyl-N-acetylgalactosaminyl- proteoglycan 4-beta-N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase activity, EC:2.4.1.175, GO:0047238. Hi,
Could I request the new function term "chondroitin N- acetylgalactosaminyltransferase activity",as a child of "acetylgalactosaminyltransferase activity" (GO:0008376)
Definition: Catalysis of the transfer of an N-acetylgalactosaminyl residue from UDP-N-acetyl-galactosamine to a chondroitin chains.
Pubmed literature reference: 11788602
Thanks,
Emily (for annotation of Q8N6G5)
