thioredoxin-disulfide reductase activity #1372

Hi,

Aubrey (from FB) says:

thioredoxin-disulfide reductase activity ; GO:0004791 ; EC:1.8.1.9

is wrong as it stands.

He says it needs the hyphen removing because thioredoxin disulphide (with no hyphen) is another name for the oxidised form of thioredoxin.

It is listed as thioredoxin-disulfide reductase (with hyphen) on the IUBMB site: http://www.chem.qmul.ac.uk/iubmb/enzyme/EC1/8/1/9.html

He says this is wrong too.

so:

  1. Are there any GO experts on this?- any objections to me removing the hyphen from GO:0004791?
  2. How do IUBMB changes get made if necc?

I've fixed this in GO and submitted an error report to IUBMB.
