Corrected a) and b); added a new term, GO:0045215, 1- phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate kinase, to replace 0004431 and also slightly reorganised the structure of that area.

Hi
I've been looking at the PtdIns-phosphate-kinase part of the tree after GO:0004431 was made obselete, to replace this GO term in the FlyBase files.
There's some bits of this branch of the ontology that I think need some minor modifications. Alot of the EC nos don't correspond to the correct enzyme. Some of the terms shouldn't have EC nos since they're function terms rather than an enzyme name but the incorrect ECs should be removed. According to the web site there is a revision of these nos going on which will become official at the end of May, so I can look at these again after that http://www.chem.qmul.ac.uk/iubmb/enzyme/newenz.html\#271137
However in the meantime could I suggest a few alterations:
a) GO:0016307 definition is the formation of PtdIns(4,5)P2, but it has the child 1-PtdIns 3-Phosphate 5-kinase (GO:0000285), so the definition of the parent needs modifying accordingly
b) Since GO:0004431 has been made obselete, should GO:0008483 also be obselete too? If not, it would make sense to me, to make it a child of GO:0016307
There also seems to be a little inconsistency between using enzyme names, and actual functions, since many of the enzymes have >1 function, ie phosphorylate multiple products. I know there was some talk of looking carefully at the kinase bit of the tree so I guess this will be resolved then?
Thanks .
Becky
