NTRs: Positive/Negative regulation of growth factor activity Positive/Negative regulation of signal release

Evidence: PMID 30106099

Figure 3: Transfection of miR-21-5p into luciferase assay containing 3'UTR of IL-12A significantly reduced luciferase activity.

Figure 4: Transfection of IL-12 significantly decreased secretion of VEGFA and subsequently its signalling pathway. MiR was shown to negatively regulate endothelial cell proliferation involved in angiogenesis.

Figure 2: Transfection of miR-21-5p significantly increased secretion of VEGFA and subsequently its signalling pathway. MiR was shown to positively regulate endothelial cell proliferation involved in angiogenesis. Silencing of VEGFA significantly down regulated endothelial cell proliferation involved in angiogenesis.

Can you propose more specific terms ? Ideally those would be 'do not annotate'.

Also, these assays seem to be quite indirect. Why not annotate 'causally upstream, negative effect of endothelial cell proliferation involved in angiogenesis'?
