Obsolete MITE transposition #25022

Refers to a specific type II transposable element (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miniature_Inverted-repeat_Transposable_Elements); replace by GO:0006313 'DNA transposition'

Dear all,

The proposal has been made to obsolete MITE transposition. The reason for obsoletion is that this represents a specific species of Type II transposons. There are no annotations to this term; this term is not present in any subset.
