Obsoletion notice: GO:0048015 phosphatidylinositol-mediated signaling #25786

Dear all,

The proposal has been made to obsolete GO:0048015 phosphatidylinositol-mediated signaling.

The reason for obsoletion is that this term is not clearly defined and represents several pathways, or is sometimes used to annotate experiments in which some phosphatidylinositol's level changes, but no data is presented on the actual pathway affected.

Annotations are here: https://github.com/geneontology/go-annotation/issues/4639 There are 8 annotations left by MGI and RGD.

We plan on obsoleting the term in a week, on July 25, 2023.

Noting that we dont have a term for phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate and phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate
