GO:0000448 cleavage in ITS2 between 5.8S rRNA and LSU-rRNA of tricistronic rRNA transcript (SSU-rRNA, 5.8S rRNA, LSU-rRNA)
refers to the pathway performed by the Las1 compex Definition A four subunit complex, that comprises all the necessary RNA processing enzymes (endonuclease, polynucleotide kinase, and exonuclease) to mediate 'cistronic rRNA transcript ITS2 (internal transcribed spacer) cleavage' (GO:0000448). [PMID:26638174]
This seems like a better term label? and I would also suggest cleavage -> processing (because cleavage is describing only the outcome?)
so, it would become the biologist friendly label 'cistronic rRNA transcript ITS2 processing' exact synonym 'cistronic rRNA transcript internal transcribed spacer processing' narrow synonym 'cistronic rRNA transcript internal transcribed spacer cleavage ' narrow synonym 'cleavage in ITS2 between 5.8S rRNA and LSU-rRNA of tricistronic rRNA transcript (SSU-rRNA, 5.8S rRNA, LSU-rRNA)' (all this is in the def anyway)
