Call with @genegodbold Maybe this could be organized like this:
. interspecies interaction .. symbiont-mediated modulation of host process .. venom-mediated modulation of process in another organism .. host-mediated modulation of symbiont process .. symbiont intracellular protein transport in host {host + symbiont proteins} .. viral translation {host + symbiont proteins} .. migration in host {host + symbiont proteins} .. killing of cells of another organism ... neutrophil-mediated cell killing
Examples: GO:0046761 viral budding from plasma membrane - check mammalian proteins annotated to this; do we want these host proteins to be annotated to this process, or only symbiont proteins?
@pmasson55 proposes that we change definition of the following terms to allow annotation of host proteins:
'biological process involved in interaction with host' http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/GO_0051701 'biological process involved in interaction with symbiont' http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/GO_0051702 'biological process involved in symbiotic interaction' http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/GO_0044403 'biological process involved in interspecies interaction between organisms' http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/GO_0044419 'biological process involved in intraspecies interaction between organisms' http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/GO_0051703 'regulation of biological process involved in symbiotic interaction' http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/GO_0043903
& some children like: 'migration in host' 'acquisition of nutrients from host' 'adhesion of symbiont to host' 'exit from host cell' 'symbiont entry into host' 'symbiont intracellular protein transport in host' 'symbiont-mediated killing of host cell' 'translocation of molecules into host'
