Hi,

We have 'insulin-like growth factor binding'. To complete my annotation, please can I also have the new term : insulin binding.

peptide hormone binding ; GO:0017046 --%insulin binding ; GO:NEW

Interacting selectively with insulin or related peptide. Insulin is a polypeptide hormone produced by the islets of Langerhans of the pancreas in mammals, and by the homologous organs of other organisms. In mammals at least, insulin stimulates glucose uptake by muscle and adipose tissue and promotes glycogenesis, lipogenesis and synthesis of protein and nucleic acids.

(shortened the def a bit, and took off the 'or related peptide' bit - was there any particular reason for that? Could add other terms for related peptides).
