glycolipid binding #3100

Request for 1 new GOA term, and suggestion of a link to a child of this new term.

Child of GO:0008289 lipid binding New term: "glycolipid binding" definition: Interacting selectively with glycolipid, compounds containing (usually) 1-4 linked monosaccharide residues joined by a glycosyl linkage to a lipid.

Looking at these guidelines for Nomenclature of Glycolipids I would suggest that one of the child terms for GO:0008289 lipid binding should also be a child term for "glycolipid binding"

Make a child of "glycolipid binding" GO:0043208: glycosphingolipid binding
