I have merged GO:0016932 and GO:0016757 (into the latter term) as they were synonymous. I created a new term, GO:0046527, glucosyltransferase, as a parent for the glucose-transferring enzymes that were floating around under GO:0016758. I corrected the parentage of a number of terms under "oligosaccharyltransferase" which should've been under a different parent. I also defined the following parent terms based on your definition: GO:0000030, mannosyltransferase GO:0008375, acetylglucosaminyltransferase GO:0008376, acetylgalactosaminyltransferase GO:0008378, galactosyltransferase GO:0008417, fucosyltransferase GO:0015020, glucuronosyltransferase GO:0046527, glucosyltransferase There were a couple of other undefined enzyme terms with either UM-BBD or EC refs so I put those definitions in. There were also two heptosyltransferases in and amongst the hexosyltransferases, so I moved them to 2.4.99.- (transferase, transferring other glycosyl groups).

At the moment, we have the function terms: glycosyltransferase ; GO:0016932 and transferase, transferring glycosyl groups; GO:0016757
These appear to have the same function to me. Is there any difference between them? It seems that the term glycosyltransferase should be at a more general node in the tree (as EC:2.4.-.-). Could these tems be merged and glycosyltransferase used as a synonym (and move its children under transferase, transferring hexosyl groups ; GO:0016758 ; EC:2.4.1.-)?
Also, lactose synthase ; GO:0004461 should be moved to be a child of galactosyltransferase ; GO:0008378 (see Ox dict of Biochem and Mol. Biol.).
proposed galactosyltransferase definition: Catalysis of the transfer of a galactosyl group to an acceptor molecule. Galactosyltransferases are members of the subclass hexosyltransferases, for which the glycosyl group is galactosyl. (ISBN:0198506732).
Also GO:0003830 is missing a definition (EC:2.4.1.144) Catalysis of the reaction: UDP-N-acetyl-D-glucosamine + b-D-mannosyl-R = UDP + 4-(N-acetyl-b-D-glucosaminyl)-b-D-mannosyl-R.
