same question for other descendents of 'RNA methyltransferase activity' (GO:0008173) that have "-Nx-" where x is a number in the term name, but it will be pretty slow to copy/paste them all here, and a lot faster for someone who's viewing the tree to click around and find them.
thanks,
-Karen

makes sense to me, and I can add the relationships next time I'm editing (unless you want to)

Done; I found a C- and an O-methyltransferase as well. All new parents:
is_a C-methyltransferase activity GO:0008169 rRNA (cytosine-C5-967)-methyltransferase activity GO:0009383
is_a N-methyltransferase activity GO:0008170 rRNA (adenine-N6,N6-)-dimethyltransferase activity GO:0000179 rRNA (adenine-N6-)-methyltransferase activity GO:0008988 rRNA (guanine-N1-)-methyltransferase activity GO:0008989 rRNA (guanine-N2-)-methyltransferase activity GO:0008990
is_a O-methyltransferase activity GO:0008171 rRNA (adenosine-2'-O-)-methyltransferase activity GO:0030743

Hi,
I was looking at terms like: rRNA (guanine-N1-)-methyltransferase activity ; GO:0008989 rRNA (guanine-N2-)-methyltransferase activity ; GO:0008990
and wondering if they should also be children of:
N-methyltransferase activity ; GO:0008170
thanks,
-Karen
