Product name change: arabinono-1,4-lactone oxidase activity

Product name change in definition of GO term D-arabinono-1,4-lactone oxidase activity (MF GO:0003885)

Current GO term definition: Catalysis of the reaction: D-arabinono-1,4-lactone + O2 = D-erythro-ascorbate + H2O2.

Proposed new GO term definition: Catalysis of the reaction: D-arabinono-1,4-lactone + O2 = dehydro-D-arabinono-1,4-lactone + H2O2

The International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB) recommended changing the product name for the reaction catalyzed by D-arabinono-1,4-lactone oxidase (EC 1.1.3.37) from D-erythroascorbate to dehydro-D-arabinono-1,4-lactone because researchers identified the product as a 5 carbon compound and D-erythroascorbate is a 6-carbon compound. The IUBMB has contacted other databases such as PubChem, Kegg, Chebi and ExPASy and they have corrected their dbs accordingly. I am suggesting that we change GO to be consistent with the changes being propagated throughout the other databases.
